In the Zabaykalsky Krai, a significant development has been taking place in the medical sector, with the exception of the emergency medical service in Krasnokamensk. While medical staff in state institutions have experienced wage increases, their counterparts in the emergency services are yet to receive the corresponding adjustments.

Under the presidential initiative, a special social payment has made it possible for over 6,000 regional employees, including medical workers, to receive additional wage increases in the Zabaykalsky Krai. This has led to a significant salary boost for mid-level medical staff, who previously received 41,000 rubles, now earning up to 61,000 rubles.

The staffing level for mid- and high-level medical personnel in the polyclinic sector of the region has reached 96%, according to Osipov. This achievement is partly due to the active "Zemsky Doctor" and "Zemsky Midwife" programs, which have successfully attracted 220 new specialists to the Far East.

The "Zemsky Doctor" and "Zemsky Midwife" programs, which are currently active in the Far East, have played a crucial role in addressing the healthcare needs of the region. However, the demand for a review of the wages of employees in the emergency medical service in Krasnokamensk persists, as these workers continue to await the wage increases that have been implemented for their colleagues in state institutions.

As of now, medical workers in state institutions in the Zabaykalsky Krai earn up to 121,000 rubles in wages, a significant increase from the 81,000 rubles recorded since 2022. It remains to be seen when the emergency medical service workers in Krasnokamensk will receive their long-awaited wage increases.

  1. The increased wages for medical workers in the Zabaykalsky Krai, primarily due to the presidential initiative and the "Zemsky Doctor" and "Zemsky Midwife" programs, has positively impacted the health-and-wellness sector, providing financial stability for science professionals dealing with medical-conditions.
  2. Despite the evident progress in the medical sector of the Zabaykalsky Krai, there is a pressing need for a wage review in the emergency medical service of Krasnokamensk, especially considering the finance industry implications for the health and wellness of its employees.
