By taking time to unwind, engaging in yoga, and focusing one's movements on particular chakras, benefits can be experienced across multiple areas. Some specific asanas, or poses, that have been identified for each chakra include Mountain Pose for the root chakra, Knee-to-Chest for the sacral chakra, Spinal Twist for the solar plexus chakra, Fan Pose for the heart chakra, Neck Stretch for the throat chakra, The Gaze for the third eye chakra, and Modified Downward Dog for the crown chakra.

Breathing exercises and meditation also contribute to the overall balance of the chakras, with conscious breathing and meditation helping to downregulate the stress response, create emotional stability, and foster mindfulness. Focusing on a specific area of the body during breathing and meditation, or chakra meditation, can further enhance the balancing effect.
