Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health Partners to Transform Surgical Care
The Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has joined forces with Open Medical Europe and Tamer Healthcare to transform surgical care. The partnership aims to optimize surgical waiting list management and enhance the Perioperative Care Clinical Pathway.
Open Medical, a team of clinically-led digital health experts, will bring their expertise to the table. They have successfully implemented their solutions in over 160 healthcare organizations worldwide. Dorota Naumiuk, Chief Operations Officer at Open Medical, expressed excitement about the project, highlighting the potential to revolutionize healthcare practices.
Tamer Group, an integrated healthcare and wellness provider in Saudi Arabia, will also play a crucial role. Mohammed Soufan, Digital Healthcare Business Unit Manager at Tamer Group, stated that the partnership aims to mitigate surgery waiting times, optimize theater management, and diminish cancellation rates. The collaboration is founded on a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of project feasibility and sustainable improvements.
The exact start date of the pilot program is yet to be announced. However, this strategic collaboration between the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Tamer Healthcare, and Open Medical Europe is set to transform surgical care, improving patient outcomes and healthcare efficiency.
