In a recent development, the Munich Police Department is currently investigating a violent incident that occurred between two men, both Somali nationals, on September 18th.

The incident took place in front of the Kaufland on Berg-am-Laim Street, leading to the closure of Berg-am-Laim Street between Baumkirchner Street and Schlüsselberg Street from 5:20 AM to 7:20 AM on the same day.

According to the police, the two men, aged 24 and 27, were found injured and bleeding on the sidewalk early in the morning. They sustained stab wounds in various parts of their bodies, including the abdomen, arms, and legs, as a result of a physical altercation.

The 24-year-old man was discharged from the hospital on September 19th at 12:30 PM, while the 27-year-old man is still in the hospital due to serious injuries.

The exact details of the incident are still under investigation, and the police are working diligently to uncover the background of the incident. Extensive trace evidence procedures were carried out at the scene, and an emergency call regarding the incident came in at 5:15 AM.

Interestingly, it has been revealed that the two men were involved in a relationship and reside in a refugee home. The altercation reportedly stemmed from a drunken dispute in an apartment in Sigmaringen, where the older man, aged 43, allegedly stabbed the 38-year-old victim with a chisel in the back.

The police are asking for any information related to the incident and can be contacted at the Munich Police Headquarters, Homicide Division 11, or any other police station. The investigation is being handled by the Criminal Police, specifically Homicide Division 11.

The police urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities. As the investigation continues, updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
