Proposal for Worker Radiation Protection Directive Request Made by Commission Regarding Occupational Radiation Exposure Risks
On May 13, 2025, at 3:00 PM, a lecture titled "Aging with Self-Determination and Care" will take place in the Klostersaal of Kloster Furth. This event is aimed at providing information about available assistance and resources for seniors who wish to remain in their familiar surroundings despite physical impairment or dementia.
The lecture will last approximately 60 minutes and will feature two speakers: Elisabeth Strasser, the county of Landshut's senior commissioner, and Monja David, coordinator of the county's dementia support.
Both speakers will present the county's offerings related to mobility, housing, daily support, planning ahead, and care. The focus of their talk will be on assisting elderly individuals who wish to maintain their independence and quality of life in their own homes.
After the lecture, the speakers will be available to answer questions from the audience. This is an excellent opportunity for seniors and their families to learn more about the resources available to them in the Landshut district and to get their questions answered by experts in the field.
Attendance for the lecture is free of charge, making it accessible to everyone who is interested. So, if you or someone you know is a senior looking for support to age in place, mark your calendars for May 13, 2025, at 3:00 PM and join us at the Klostersaal of Kloster Furth for the "Aging with Self-Determination and Care" lecture.
