Russia - Kirill Tereshin (28) has been a remarkable figure in society for years: Largely recognized as "Popeye wannabe" or "Russian Popeye," his claims to fame are well-deserved. However, the inflated fake biceps he's sported have a steep price tag, with numerous hospital visits as the consequence. This latest incident recently occurred.
Harking back to the early days, Tereshin embarked on a risky venture, injecting oil mixtures into his arms to boost their size.
Fueled by his questionable achievements in arm augmentation, Tereshin found fame within the Russian press and social media. Boasting over 260,000 followers on Instagram, the self-proclaimed "Popeye" frequently shares updates on his unnatural upper-body stature.
Recently, he took to his Instagram to reveal yet another hospitalization. In a series of pictures, he's depicted standing before a hospital bed, sporting a large white bandage wrapping his left arm. The inflated bicep appears red, suggesting blood loss from the escaping material. He captioned the post, "Operation to remove the bicep."

Has "Bazooka Arms" finally taken heed of medical advice? The 28-year-old has undergone surgery on his arms previously, and doctors have repeatedly warned him that he risks arm amputations if he continues down this path.
Posting two pictures a day later, Tereshin this time displayed his left arm at his home—now noticeably less bulkier compared to a few weeks ago.
Many users commented in relief underneath Tereshin's posts. "Have you finally had an epiphany?" "Good call, buddy" and "He might keep his arm now" were among the responses.
Perhaps, the "Russian Popeye" has finally considered the advice of his doctors. Let's hope he resists the urge to grab the oil syringe once more!
