New Obesity Self-Help Group Launches at St. Josef Hospital
A new self-help group for obesity patients is set to commence on October 8th at St. Josef Hospital near me of KHWE in Bad Driburg. The group aims to provide a supportive space for individuals dealing with obesity, offering guidance, motivation, and mutual support.
The inaugural meeting will take place on October 8th at 7 pm, with no prior registration required. Dr. Florian Dietl, a renowned specialist, will deliver a lecture on the possibilities, risks, and chances associated with severe obesity. The group will be led by Christin Nissen and Janina Piwon, who will facilitate regular meetings every second Wednesday of the month at 7 pm in conference room U38 of St. Josef Hospital.
St. Josef Hospital has been treating obesity comprehensively for 15 years and is recognised as one of the 20 reference centres nationwide. With over 500 patients accompanied annually, the hospital offers a range of treatments, from conservative therapy to surgical interventions.
