Landrat Visits ZGT Adlkofen: Emphasizing Healthcare Continuity and Digitization
Landrat Peter Dreier and economic advisor Ludwig Goetz recently visited the Health and Therapy Center in Adlkofen. The center, led by Margot Raff since 1997, offers tailored rehabilitation services, including neurological intensive therapy and hand therapy. Dreier emphasized the importance of continuity in healthcare and encouraged individuals to take responsibility for their health.
The center, known as ZGT Adlkofen, serves a large catchment area with around 30 cars for external appointments. It employs 65 staff, including physiotherapists, ergotherapists, speech therapists, and sports scientists. Margot Raff's daughters, Denise and Nadine, also joined the company after their training and studies. The management trio has invested around 2.5 million euros in the latest technologies and equipment to offer personalized treatment options.
One of the center's key tools is the EksoNR skeleton, which helps patients who can no longer walk independently to relearn this skill. This provides emotional moments when patients stand upright again. The center is also one of only 40 practices in Germany enabling digital signatures for rehabilitation sports, demonstrating their commitment to digitization.
During the visit, Dreier and Goetz discussed bureaucracy and digitization obstacles with the center's management. While the implementation of a uniform digital patient record and e-prescription is proceeding slowly, all present agreed that digitization is necessary in the organizational area. The ZGT Adlkofen continues to serve its community with advanced technologies and a dedicated team, providing continuity in healthcare and encouraging individual responsibility.
