In the coming week, several speed test measures will be implemented across the South East Hesse region, as announced by the Traffic Directorate and the South East Hesse Police Headquarters. The initiatives aim to ensure road user safety and reduce the risk of accidents.

On 08.09.2025, speed test will take place on the A66, heading towards Fulda, at the junction Bad Soden-Salmünster.

The following day, on 09.09.2025, speed test will occur on the B43a, moving towards Dieburg, before the Hanau Harbour junction. This measure is particularly focused on a high-risk stretch of the road.

On 11.09.2025, speed test will be enforced on the L3196, as drivers approach Majoß, an identified accident hotspot.

On 12.09.2025, speed test will take place on the K174, heading towards Rodgau, between Waldacker and Rodgau-Ring-Straße, due to wildlife concerns in the area.

On 13.09. and 14.09.2025, the B43a, moving towards Dieburg, before the Hanau Harbour junction, will undergo speed test once more, this time due to its classification as a high-risk stretch.

The specific speed test locations have been determined based on accident hotspots, wildlife, and high-risk stretches, as well as noise protection considerations. However, no information about potential penalties for speeding violations has been provided.
