Alex Cooper, the phenom behind "Call Her Daddy," dropped a bombshell in her new Hulu docuseries, Call Her Alex. Cooper finally spoke up about sexual harassment she endured during her time at Boston University (BU) as a member of the women's soccer team.
Fast forward to 2025, Cooper took a journey back to her alma mater. Walking around the soccer field, she choked up, recalling the pain caused by her soccer coach, Nancy Feldman.
"Sophomore year, everything changed," Cooper revealed, tears streaming down her face. "My coach started to pay extra attention to me, and it wasn't about my performance on the field. It was all about me as a person."
Cooper alleged that Feldman made lewd comments, fixated on her body, and forced uncomfortable one-on-one conversations that made her feel powerless. Feldman was also reported to have frequently touched Cooper inappropriately, causing extreme discomfort.
"I didn't speak up back then — I was on a scholarship, and I didn't want to rock the boat," Cooper confessed, but added, "I now realize that silence only empowers those who prey on young women."
Cooper's parents took notice of their daughter's distress and contacted lawyers. However, they were advised that the university might prolong any possible case for years. Despite the lack of action, Cooper chose to share her story in the hope of helping other young women facing similar situations.
When asked about why she decided to go public now, Cooper responded, "Speaking about it has allowed me to reclaim the power that was taken from me during those dark years."
Cooper's courageous move has proved her to be more than just a successful podcaster. She has become a beacon for open discussions and an influential force in the world.
