Elderly individual Julia B. King, also known as Julia B. Montoya King, has sadly passed away at the age of 95.

Julia B. King, a beloved resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 95. Born on August 7, 1929, in Lucero, near Mora, King spent her formative years in Las Vegas, New Mexico, before moving to California in the 1950s.

King lived in several places, including the San Fernando Valley, Burbank, and Tehachapi, California, for over 40 years. In 1992, she returned to New Mexico after retiring from Lockheed Aircraft, and later resided in Santa Fe and Las Vegas, Nevada, before settling in Albuquerque.

King was a woman of many interests and passions. She was an avid supporter of Republican politics and a keen enthusiast of art, bicycling, tennis, mountain climbing with the Sierra Club, and travel. Her travels took her to Europe, Italy, and the Holy Land.

King was married twice and had two children, Glenda King and Daniel King. She is survived by her grandson, Julian Mullins, who resides in New York.

The Rosary for Julia B. King will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, followed by a Mass at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church. The burial will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Albuquerque. A reception will follow at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church. French Funerals is handling the arrangements.
