Chinese suspect allegedly murders transgender woman in Pattaya after she declines sexual advances

Updated Article:

That darn Chinese bloke, Fu Tongyung, spilled the beans, confessing to whacking a Thai trans woman, Woranan Pannacha, in Pattaya because she swore off his advances, then proceeded to hack apart her body. Can you imagine?

Fu, a 42-year-old from China, fessed up to police in connection with Woranan's murder. The 25-year-old trans woman hailed from Nong Khai province.

According to Fu, he crossed paths with Woranan near South Pattaya beach, swapped WeChat contacts with her, and assumed she was the real deal, lady-wise. Fast forward to 9 pm, Woranan hit him up, they hooked up at his rented pad, agreed on an 8,000 baht romp, but things went south when she refused to go through with it.

Fu demanded half his dough back, but when Woranan balked, they started squabbling. She clawed his mug and flipped him off the bed. They wrestled some more, and guess who emerged the victor in the catfight? Yup, you guessed it. Fu smothered her, dragged her carcass to a toilet, and, using a pair of scissors, sliced open her breasts and plucked out her silicone implants.

Appetite suddenly peaked, Fu decided he wanted to "play" with the body, so he hacked her open from neck to genitals, yanked out her heart, and shared the grisly tale with the boys in blue.

Post-crime caper, he washed up, snoozed, reserved a flight, and high-tailed it to Suvarnabhumi airport to catch a plane back to China. But the reckoning was upon him, as the cops nabbed him at the airport in Samut Prakan province on Saturday.

Fu tossed out a vague mental illness claim, suggesting he lost it after being assaulted, but he hadn't ever bothered to get a diagnosis. He's a welder in China and admitted to three visits to Thailand. His first trip was on a tour group, but his subsequent vacations were all solo affairs.

There's more to this sordid tale, as Woranan's relatives confronted Fu during a police-led reenactment of the crime. Bloodlust in their eyes, they let loose with a barrage of curses and attempted to lynch the dude. But the boys in blue stepped in to quell the chaos.

The Pattaya police chief, Pol Col Anek Sathongyu, said that Fu's confession was backed up by cold, hard evidence. And guess what? When they searched his bag, they found no human organs - just a water bottle. The lungs, however, seem to have vanished from the scene of the crime. The investigation is still ongoing.

Geez, what a heinous mess. I hope they find justice for Woranan.
