Business support initiative by Aviatra Accelerators for rising female artists in the art community

Aviatra Accelerators, a leading organisation dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs, has announced the launch of a new program called 'Profitability Blueprint for Women Artists.' This 4-week educational program, designed specifically for women artists, aims to help them build confidence, gain clarity, and take actionable steps to turn their creative talents into a profitable business.

The program, which takes place at the Aviatra Incubator, is structured into four modules, each focusing on a key area of running a successful art business.

1. **Mindset & Inspiration** (Aug. 5): This module focuses on building confidence in artistic abilities, redefining identity as a professional artist, and making mindset shifts needed for profiting from art. Participants will hear stories and advice from women artists who have successfully monetized their art, and learn how creative skills benefit business ownership.

2. **Processes & Production** (Aug. 12): This module covers business fundamentals, time management strategies, and streamlined processes to manage an art business without overwhelm. Participants will receive guidance on starting an art business and utilizing tools to optimize time.

3. **Pricing & Financials** (Aug. 19): This module delves into setting prices, exploring multiple revenue streams from art, and basic financial tracking essentials. Participants will gain insights from various artists on monetizing art and financial lessons learned.

4. **Marketplaces & Marketing** (Aug. 26): The final module focuses on exploring options for where to sell art, marketing strategies to attract customers authentically without feeling salesy, and brainstorming effective business communication.

After the module sessions, participants have the opportunity to display and sell their artwork at an Art Show & Sale held in the Aviatra Incubator's popup retail space in Covington, with an opening party and sales event.

The program features a panel of successful women artists sharing first-hand experiences, expert presenters such as Sheryl Woodhouse, artist and director of the non-profit Building Value, Alandes Powell, executive director of Black Art Speaks, and Litsa Spanos, founder & owner of ADC Fine Art & Gallery.

The Profitability Blueprint for Women Artists Program offers the opportunity to pay in two monthly installments, with early bird pricing available through July 18, at $445, or $495 after July 18. The program can be found and registered for on the Aviatra Accelerators website.

Jill Morenz, President and CEO of Aviatra Accelerators, stated that the program aims to inspire confidence among women artists and equip them with tools for financial wellbeing. The program is scheduled to take place every Tuesday evening in August from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Aviatra Incubator, located at 112 W. Pike Street in Covington.
