Breaking News: Two Product Recalls Announced by Goodles and Blue Bell Ice Cream

In a recent development, two popular brands, Goodles and Blue Bell Ice Cream, have announced recalls of some of their products due to contamination concerns and undeclared allergens.

Goodles, a vegan snack company, is recalling several batches of its "Vegan Is Believin'" and "Here Comes Truffle" products. The recall, which affects 5 lots of Vegan Is Believin' and 3 lots of Here Comes Truffle, produced between April 7 and April 15, 2025, is due to undeclared milk and cashew content. The recall does not involve any products related to the topics in the suggested articles (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation in 2025, progress of top brands on packaging sustainability, global packaging sustainability regulation in 2025, increasing the use of reusable packaging in supermarkets).

Consumers who have purchased the recalled Goodles products are advised to return them to the place of purchase for a refund. No injuries or allergic reactions have been reported in connection with this recall, as of the time of this news article.

In a separate incident, Blue Bell Ice Cream has voluntarily recalled a limited quantity of its ice cream due to undeclared health risks for consumers with nut allergies. The recalled product is a half-gallon Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough carton with a Moo-llennium Crunch Ice Cream lid. The code for the recalled Blue Bell Ice Cream is '061027524'.

The Blue Bell Ice Cream recall was not initiated due to consumer feedback or distribution outside of the stated timeframe. Instead, it was prompted by the discovery that the recalled product was mistakenly distributed in another flavour's packaging.

Contrary to the Goodles recall, the Blue Bell Ice Cream recall was not made with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. However, the recall is being made with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The Blue Bell Ice Cream recall affected products distributed nationally from 04/29/2025 to 08/05/2025. Three consumers reported injuries after being struck in the face by an ejected lid, according to the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission. Six reported allergic reactions for Here Comes Truffle and two for Vegan Is Believin' prompted the Goodles recall.

The companies urge consumers not to consume the recalled products if they have allergies or severe sensitivities to milk and/or cashew. Consumers who have purchased the recalled products are advised to return them to the place of purchase for a refund.

We will continue to monitor this situation and provide updates as more information becomes available. Stay tuned for more news on these recalls and other consumer-related stories.
