Diseases of the gallbladder and bile ducts, often involving gallstones, are common and may require surgical removal. Meanwhile, the pancreas also requires clinical treatment for acute inflammation and chronic conditions. The Pancreatic Cancer Center, supported by the Gastroenterology Clinic and the General and Visceral Surgery Clinic, will also be a key focus of the conference. All diseases of the gallbladder and pancreas are diagnosed and treated in close collaboration between these departments.
